InactiveI have just replaced my T2000 with the FVP 5000t Freeview Play. I have set the “skip” value for recordings but it does not seem to exist just a fast forward which is a bit of a pain also it seems to store recordings oddly with the last one recorded being highlighted so if your not careful you watch them in the wrong order.

ParticipantHigh welcome to our forum. Yes last recorded being default is a pain to many.
Re – The Skip see the faq’s for the 4000/5000T.
Briefly if you want to skip press the OK button and then press the left or right keys the number of times you want to skip your user set times. eg at defaults + right right skips the average ITV ad break (4 mins).

You also have to make sure that the time line is highlighted otherwise it won’t skip, so I usually have to press OK, Up, then Right.

OK does that for me. Might depend on what you did last.

InactiveI know I might be pushing it a bit but is there any form of “skip” I’ve missed to skip bits when you’ve had a live programme on pause for a while or is it limited to just fast forward

You have to display the timebar first by pressing play button, you can then skip using the left/right arrow keys.
