    Hi Guys,

    I know the main idea of the Humax box is to watch Freesat, but I like to watch files I have stored in other places too.

    Using the media Share option in the Humax menu to “Play the shared media files” I get two copies of each file on my NAS Drive.

    I have checked the drive and each file only exists once, so I’m not sure where it’s getting the duplicates from (it plays both versions).

    It’s a bit confusing how these things work.

    It’s the latest BOGOF offer from Humax :-)

    Joking apart the only thing I can think of is you have two DLNA/UpNp servers on your NAS.

    Hi Graham,

    Great advice as usual, pointed me in the right direction.

    Had a look at the settings on my network drive and they all seemed to be OK but spotted an option to “Rebuild DLNA Database”

    So I clicked that, and some time later (it took a while to rebuild) the Humax now only shows the files once.
