InactiveI used to be able to easily delete unwanted channels, but since I had to do a factory reset I cannot find this setting. I am also experiencing an odd problem in that one day film four is there, next day it says no signal strength and then it returns. I have the two tuners and when it disappears the signal only appears on one tuner. I have tried to get help from humax but they do not reply. Thanks for any help

ParticipantHi welcome to our forum. You have posted in the HB 1000s/11000S thread. As these boxes only have a single tuner it’s not surprising
If you have a HDR-xxxxS if you confirm a kindly moderator may move it at a suitable location.
Menu Settings – move right to more and press OK – Choose Editable channels.

Don’t worry a modulator
willhas moved it
The UI on the HB series is in fact identical. Re Film 4 can you tune to the channel when not playing back. Menu – Settings – System Information – Signal Info. Check it says Freesat box connected with 2 cable at the bottom.
Note Film 4 isn’t a full time channel. it only starts broadcasting at 11:00 am
Any reception issues you get with Film 4 should also affect these (same transponder).
104 Channel 4
125 More4 + 1
300 Film4
301 Film4 + 1
509 4Music
974 Channel 4

What does it say about the number of cables at the bottom of the signal information screen ? The signal should be much the same as they are all on UK spot beam transponders.

That’s not what I am asking. At the bottom of the screen is a message.
Does it say connected by two or one cable ?

That’s fine. I was worried that you may have the box in single cable mode.
Not sure why that transponder is giving lower readings than the others.
All my UK spot beam transponders are 100% strength and 100% quality.
The Foxsat-hdr has percentage figures while the newer boxes only have the bar graphs.
I would check that there is no water getting into the coax cabling at the lnb. One sign of water is some frequencies are affected more than others. You do not want water to track down inside the coax and get into your freesat box. The older air spaced dialectric coax makes a good mini water pipe.
