    Hi.

    I have recently bought an Orbitsound P70 sound bar and have connected my HDR1100S to it via the optical cable.

    However, the maximum sound level is relatively low and probably no better than my TV which sort of defeats the object.

    I have looked at the various menus and cant see a way of increasing the output volume from the Humax so just wondered if anyone new a solution?

    Hi welcome to our forum. Tune to a SD channel. Turn down your sound bar volume. Using the 1100S remote turn up the box volume up to near max. Now turn up the sound bar volume.

    If you want HD channels to have same volume Menu – Settings – Picture and Sound – Digital Audio Out Change to Stereo
