How to access info while playing a recording ?

    I read in the faq that I can access info on a playing recording by doing this:

    To access programme info whilst playing a recording:

    Home

    Down Arrow

    Highlight Recent, OK

    Highlight the desired programme and press OK.

    but I assume that’s for the 4000t.

    Can someone tell me what to do on the 5000t please?

    I’m afraid I don’t get it. Maybe I didn’t explain what I’m trying to do.

    I’m playing a previously recorded program on my fvp-5000t. I can press ok to see how far through I am and the name of the show, but how about if I want more info – maybe a synopsis. What do I press then please?

    Good question _ it would appear the only option is to access info via recordings button.

    Can you not just use the Back Button to stop the recording momentarily whilst you read the synopsis etc. as you can on the 4000T?

    It’s then a simple matter to restart from where you left off.

    Yes you can stop playback and view info in that manner.
