OK so my wee one was at the remote and has locked channel 4. I can put in ‘0000’ and it clears but I need to do it every time?
Also my channels have changed to 5000 numbers, the Guide is sparse of programmes and if I select a programme just brings up a box ‘not available’.
Obviously we’ve had a bit of unsettled weather – is something up with the dish?
You have switched your Foxsat into non-freesat (Free To Air) mode.
Menu – Settings – STB Mode. Change non-freesat back to freesat

Give me a few minutes to boot my Foxsat. I will get back to you. Barry might remember, his brain is a lot newer than mine
It’s happened to me once before a long time ago and I just cannot for the life of me think what remedied it.
Menu – Edit Channel List. You should see a padlock next to locked channels. Select a padlocked channel and press green. On Exit save changes.

Some tips to make the box a bit faster.
Never press guide – instead of pressing guide press the schedule button and then red. It avoids the wait caused by the box downloading a whole new epg from the home transponder.
Jump between channels in the guide by tapping in the channel number. eg wherever you are in the guide tapping 106 jumps to BBC1-HD at the currently selected time.
