At other times it’s fine. However, at times when it’s not working, if I go to examine “storage” it says that none is available, i.e. no HDD !! Does this mean my HDD is failing? What can I do? Cheers. P.S. I have some great recordings and would not like to lose them. Does this mean my HDD is failing? What can I do? Clearly there is something not right which is most likely to be the hard drive. I would suggest installing the custom firmware and running fix-disk see https://myhumax.org/forum/topic/how-to-fix-hard-drive-and-file-system-problems If you install the full version of the custom firmware you will be able to interrogate the health of the hard drive and with advice decide on whether it needs replacing.
