Hi, thanks for letting me in
A family friend who lives miles from me as a problem with a HDRFOX T2 Freeview+HD
It is displaying the Store Display Mode On message with no picture or sound
Any idea what she may have done pls?

Welcome to our Forum
It will be a TV setting that has been changed as the HDR T2 does not have a store display mode.
If you can post make/model of TV no doubt one of our members can help.

It is displaying the Store Display Mode On message with no picture or sound
Your friend will need to attempt to use the TV’s remote to put things right.
The HDR-FOX T2 does not have a store display mode.
The message is either coming from the TV itself of some other appliance that is attached to the TV but it’s probably a TV set message as TVs are more likely to have a store display mode.
Although the main expertise on this forum is with the HDR-FOX T2 if you give details of the TV there may be someone who can help.

From the user manual:
If “Store Display Mode: On” is displayed on the
screen
• Your TV is set to “Shop” mode. You need to set “Home”
for “Location” in the “Auto Start-up” procedure again
My understanding again from the manual is a reset will be required as there appears to be no ‘toggle on/off’ for store display mode:
Menu
Settings
Auto start up
