Hi, a quick query on the HDR-1100S. Does anyone know if it can work with Nilesat in the state of Qatar?
Should work fine with any channels that are FTA and not encrypted and added using non-freesat mode (a quick check shows some odd FEC settings) Of course you will need a dish aligned on 7W. As the G2 boxes cannot record non freesat it would be view only.
A Foxsat-HDR (especially one with the Custom Firmware) would be a much better bet, as you can set manual timers for non freesat channels.
