Our telly box has a single main purpose and that is to record Emmerdale for the Mrs, which it is repeatedly failing to do recently. We have deleted and reinstated the instruction to the device to no avail. Just now she was remonstrating about another failed recording but when the programme ended the screen popped up saying recording had begun! It recorded the advertisements then stopped. On other occasions it just records nothing at all.
What is happening?
If you switch on the box and view the Emmerdale channel while it is due to start recording does it then record OK?
We don’t do that, so I can’t really answer the question with any certainty. We could give it a go I suppose.
