    i downloaded humaxrw-1.15-linux.tar.gz

    user tar -xzf humaxrw-1.15-linux.tar.gz

    to uncompress it

    according to the help file i can use humaxrw -h to display help but no matter what i type i get humaxrw: command not found

    is there a special version for ubuntu anywhere i need to get as i want to upgrade the hard drive.

    Are you cd’ing to the untar’d directory? If so, try using the command

    ./humaxrw -h

    The place you have uncompressed the files is probably not in your $PATH.
