    I want to do a software update . Can anyone tell me how to go about it please. I cant see an option on my FVP-4000 T stb and I wonder if it resets the recordings?

    Welcome to our Forum :-)

    Update using the following steps if unit is connected to internet:

    Home

    Settings

    System Settings

    System Information

    Check New Software should be highlighted, press OK

    Updating software does reset recordings.

    Embarrassed edit: Updating software does not reset recordings.

    (thank you to BB for pointing out my stupid error)

    It doesn’t reset settings; it does reset the schedule of future recordings but the version you install will retain the schedule (as far as possible).
