    Hi all,

I have just purchased a HDR 1100s to replace my Sky Q and I am getting a “NO SIGNAL” message when trying to setup channels. It also reports “Freesat box is only connected with 1 cable” when I have connected two cables from the satellite.

Have I got a faulty HDR 1100s or is there an issue switching from Sky Q ?

    Many thanks.

The lnb used for Sky Q is a special wideband design that will only work with the wideband tuners used in a Sky Q box. Sky will fit a hybrid lnb with 6 outputs that will work with legacy devices designed to use a standard universal lnb, but only if you have such kit when Sky Q is installed.

If the dish is accessible it’s pretty simple to replace the lnb with a universal Sky type lnb.
