Is there any way to add padding to recordings either through the app or the myhumax website? The only way I can see is if you do it directly on the pvr 3000t.

Can only comment on UK products that have the facility to use apps and myhumax.net – the answers is no I’m afraid.
Of course, as you have commented, you could use the padding settings on the unit.
