    I changed the forum heading a few weeks ago, but no one spotted it :-)

    Replacement for the HB 1000S – noteworthy hardware change is now with built in WiFi, and of course the case:

    Edit from pictures it only appears to have one USB port, I’ll try and get confirmation on that – Edit 03/04 Confirmed.

    Available Mid April according to the entry on Humax Direct.

    Are there any technical differencesimprovements beyond the new case and built-in wi-fi?

    My HB-1000S died a while ago and I need to replace it; but it’s got a wired ethernet connection, so if there’s nothing beyond cosmetics (it lives in a cupboard so that isn’t important!) and wi-fi I might was well save the money and get the older model.

    Thanks. A reconditioned HB-1000S from Humax Direct will do me then!
