Hi guys.
As my Humax 4000 is so slow and clunky, is there a way to set up recordings via an app on iPad or iPhone at all?

I don’t completely agree that it is slow and clunky. Boot unit and await a few seconds for it to finish the process (as with a PC/Laptop)
Notwithstanding, there are apps Humax TV Guide, Humax Live TV to name two – note you cannot set series timers via the apps at this time.
Compared to the HDR-Fox T2, you have to admit its slow and clunky.
It’s like a different company has made the two.
