    Hi welcome to our forum.

Some TV’s have a auto select on HDMI1 based on port activity on HDMI1. THe 1100S powers up the hdmi port for a short period when it wakes to make a recording. If yours is such a TV swapping the 1100S and Bluray inputs may fix it.

If this doesn’t fix it, it’s likely to be a CEC control issue.

Either turn off whatever your TV calls CEC control

Or fit a cec removal adaptor to the 1100S hdmi lead

Have you got the remote scheduling app paired ? If so the box wakes up every 20 mins or so to check for changes to your recording schedule ?

Check the LG setup menus for anyway of disabling HDMI port selection based on port activity (seperate system to CEC).

You’ve hit the nail on the head it started when I paired my phone to the box so I could record when out. Suppose I have to put up with it thanks

Why not unpair until you are going to be away from home for several days ? The constant boots can’t be good for the hard drive longuevity.
