As a newbie can anyone tell me how I change the default channel when switching on? Box always seems to open on BBC1 SD
Normally it will boot to the last used channel when you put the box in sby, unless you have a power on timer that has a setting to specify a power on channel and volume level after the shutdown, or if you have dual recordings in sby after shutdown, the last viewed current channel may not be usable so the box will change channel to make the recordings possible.
If you want to boot to a specific channel, set a timer on/off before you use the box and specify the channel you want to boot to later.
I imagine your TV boots the last used input as well.
