Reliable – Yes on the limited use I have put it to.
app does not support series link as yet.

Is that Android or IOS? Not that it matters I expect.
My guess as it’s waiting Freeview not Humax Series Link support will be a while.
I’d probably set that programme to record then set myself a phone reminder to add Series Link later.
I only have experience of the iOS app, and it has never worked properly for me, although remote recording via the website does work.
Both version of app. but as I stated only limited use because of server issues on the FVP – however latest beta has improved matters.

I think I’m going to stick with my Youview box for now until Humax sort out their Freeview Play box or release another.
The Android app does not work very well
Can you be more detailed please mhargreaves?
Is it generally bad or do parts work well/badly.
I’ve used the Android app and while I found that it did set the recordings that I wanted, when I looked at the schedule these recordings would show as “<channel> <date> <time>” rather than the programme name and details. The actual recordings worked and the titles would show correctly in the list of recordings.
