Hello everyone and thanks for the add. I am not too good with this technology but delighted to have received this Humax as a gift. It is not working right at all so I am going to browse and hopefully find the correct Forum to place my plea for help. I found you by browsing the internet for Humax problems.

ok, I did add to a post with the title “purple screen”.

My box installed ok, I even managed to get on to Youtube. It shuts down after about 30 mins. It just will not stay on. Won’t re-start with the remote or button on the box. I have to unplug to re-start it. Sometimes no sound. Sometimes I get the purple/pink screen with small print and no sound. Often it is just a scrolling screen and I can not get the menu or anything at all.
