Just watched an episode of Stargate SG1 on Pick, I have a LG 42LB5500 42″ HD TV and it’s connected via HDMI.
There was a black border around the entire picture, it still looked to be the right aspect ratio but at about half the available screen size, swapping to use the tuner in the TV showed a full screen picture, back to the 40000T and a small picture.
I tried changing the video settings on the 4000T but nothing I chose made the picture full screen.
Ideally if the program I’m watching is a 16:9 aspect ratio then I’d like the picture to be full screen without having to change any options regardless of what’s being shown, I don’t mind borders at left & right or top & bottom if that’s the aspect ratio of the program but not all round the picture.
Have I missed something in the settings ?
I have noticed this tonight on Stargate SG1, its not a fault with your set up, its Pick TV’s software not getting the picture format right gain.
Sorry it just called Pick now.

Try other channels – if it’s OK on them then it is a problem with the broadcast.
