    Fvp-4000t with latest firmware, has been perfect, the upgrade to latest firmware happened when it was first released and it’s been fine. Nothing has changed at all, but yesterday, when playing movie files on a usb stick on the Pvr or any recorded files on the internal hard drive it locks up completely, no option but to pull the power lead out the back.

    Tried today resetting to factory settings but still the same.

    Any ideas please?

    Welcome to our Forum :-)

    try turning off the network server, this has helped some members who have had ‘issues’ since the last software update.

    Thanks Barry.

    I’ve turned it off now and in the process of testing. Sometimes it will freeze after 10 mins sometimes after an hour, so it could take a while. I’ll report back.

    Many thanks Barry, it looks like your suggestion has in fact worked. I’m still confused as to why it has started playing up now though. But at least it is working.
