Some recordings will not delete. I then get the message ‘ can not delete due to file restrictions’ Then my list of recorded programs does not show until I turn the Humax on and off at the rear switch.
Hi Gorgon . I am getting exactly the same problem . Tried factory reset and reformat of the HD . Problem came back after a few days . Have you solved the problem . If so could you pleas tell me how . Thanks Tony
From your description I would guess the hard disk is near end of life and has physical defects manifesting in corrupted file attributes in your case.
It is possible, if you install the custom firmware, to access a disk check and repair utility. This may be able to mark bad sectors as so and be unavailable for use.
