In the last month it seems that more break ups and other glitches are occurring. In fact I can say that before I have experienced very few or none.Could it be that the Foxsat+ is beginning to show its age, or rather weather-conditions. Admitted it has been windy from time to time, but I’m not convinced that all incidences have been other than in the relatively benign.

Before I call someone out, would it be worthwhile identifying the channels most affected in case only they share polarity and voltage?

Could be a number of reasons.

    Off hand

    1 Dish has moved

2 Water is getting into your coax cables

    3 LNB is failing

4 Trees have grown since dish installed and now obscuring line of sight from dish to 28.2E.

Some signal strength and quality readings may help. List of channels by transponder here.

I seem to be having the same problem, I have just come back after a fortnight out of the country

I had recording set for one of the prog on BBC4 a week sat it broke up a little on the recording.

But now I seem to be having a lot more break ups especially film 4

tried another box same problem so I am thinking it is Dish.

BUT tried box on a different dish same bungalow (I have 2 dishes)not by choice !!

so I am a bit perplexed why happening now ???

Does brighten the monochrome scenes though, with slabs of high technicolor interference where the picture should be. ❗

Try another hdmi cable and/or different port on the TV.
