    What is the latest software update ??

    The latest version of released firmware is UKTFAE 1.00.73.

    The latest UK Version UKTFAE 1.00.73 dated 11 Jan 2016. A new version is on trial now but you would have to request to join it in the post on here.

    Do we know when the next one will be, curing the failure to come out of standby when recording ?????

    I am not convinced it fails to come out of standby, HDMI CEC handshake is the more likely problem.

    The answer to the coming out

    of standby is do not go to standby in the first place , leave it switched on when recording and you can watch any channel !!
