InactiveThis has happened 5 or 6 times now and I can’t work out what is going on.
I set a series to record, it records some of the episodes then nothing, when I check the schedule of programs to be recorded, they have disappeared.
Has anybody else experienced this or know the solution, before I junk this.

InactiveDo you ever attempt or go near the edit in the schedule?
I don’t own a FVP-4000T but on other Humax freeview models if you go into the schedule and view an entry via edit, even if you don’t change anything if you then exit using OK instead of cancel, it can turn it into a 1 off event to record.

We have had this once or twice over the last 6 months. The series just stopped recording and I had to re-select it. I had assumed that having watched an episode Her Ladyship had cancelled the series rather than deleting the watched episode. It seems to have been OK for the last couple of months.

I think I’ve done exactly the same thing, after deleting a watched episode I’ve accidentally pressed ‘OK’ when ‘Cancel Series’ was hi-lighted.

InactiveThanks all for your feedback.
I’ll make sure extra care is taken when editing or deleting.
Hope it was as simple as that.

InactiveQuote:I set a series to record, it records some of the episodes then nothingThis is usually? always? a problem caused by the broadcaster not coding all episodes of the series as being the same series.
If the Humax works OK on any series – as mine does – then I am 99% ceretain the problem is with the broadacster’s signals being missing.

InactiveProbably schedule deletion after a channel update which affects all of us.

InactiveExactly the same problem with this year’s F1 series on CH4. All fine, then would not play the recording and then stopped for no apparent reason.
If it really is a simple as accidently clicking the wrong button, perhaps Humax will make it less easy to do?
Or, maybe more likely, find out why scheduled recordings suddenly get cancelled?

InactiveThis occasionally happens to me. As far as I remember, I lost Episode 7 of Indian Summers and an episode of Jericho.
I put it down to the broadcaster not transmitting the signal, rather than the Humax missing it. I am on Mendip main transmitter.
I don’t count losing episodes of anything broadcast by 5 / 5 Star or 5 USA as they seem to me to be completely incompetent.
