Just switched my hdr2000t on and the screen is dark, all fonts are blue. Looks like the green part of the rgb signal has died. Connected via hdmi, have tried switching cables but no joy. Any idea what may have caused this? I think it may be a fault.

How do you know that it is the HDR-2000T causing this issue and not the TV?

I would have expected the box to output using the component colour space (the native one contained in the broadcast). Have you tried powering the box off at the mains for say 15 mins or so. You may have picked up some memory corruption.

Luke: All other inputs are fine ie. tv tuners and ps3, so definitely the humax. Have tried different hdmi leads and inputs to the tv and all symptoms point to the humax.

Graham – thanks for the suggestion, will give that a try.

Hmm. No, that hasn’t done the trick.

Audio is fine. Video is very dark and only reds and blues.

Just tried a scart connection and that works fine, apart from the lousy sd picture and flat sound.

So have narrowed it down to the hdmi output from the humax.

    Any other ideas?

Weird. Just switched back from scart to hdmi and it’s fine now. No idea whether my messing about made any difference.

    Anyway, at least it’s working.
