Hello. I am not great with computers but I have managed to get my HD1000s to connect to my computer. I have lots of personally recorded videos on my computer which I would like to watch on my television through the Humax. I have put them into the ‘videos’ section of Windows Media Player (on Windows 8.1) but my Humax machine is not seeing any of them. What do I need to do to be able to watch these videos via the Humax?
Can I add to this request please: How do you actually go about uploading external video (on DVD) to the Humax 1000S HDD, so as they can be played on the TV screen which is attached? I assume it would be via the USB?
After adding the videos to the Video you need to modify the default WMP settings.
Select “Stream” then Automatically allow devices to play my media.
Can’t check for the moment on Q2 but from memory place the media on a USB stick with the HDR-1xx0S on and a popup will ask.
