Hi All.
Does anyone know if the humax dongle can ‘burn out’.Mine normally runs quite hot, but works ok.
It has suddenly become impossible to pick up the internet network using the dongle. All works ok with ethernet cable but as hub is in another room this is notpossible as a permanent solution.
Any suggestions will be very gratefully received.

Homeplugs are the answer – much better, faster and more reliable solution. I have set up my home network using where possible Devolo Homeplug products (other manufacturers Homeplugs are available) and ditched wifi. Since doing so I now have a fast and reliable home network.
Many thanks Faust – I was considering home plugs and you have helped helped me make up my mind.
Have just ordered some online,so hopefully,this will be the end of my problem.
