Hi,
When a recording is being played back does the video go out through the RF out. I’d like to use this ability to send a recording to a TV in another room.

[EDIT] Sorry – this question is in regard to a Humax DTR-T2000 or BT DTR-T2100 or BT DTR-T2110. I’ve not bought one yet.

I don’t think so; you would need a separate RF modulator to do this.
A VCR or maybe an old model DVDR could be used as an RF modulator.
