My HDR1000S has performed faultlessly for the 15months I’ve had it but this week the new channels that have appeared (162/3/4) do not work. I see them in the TV Guide and programme details display in the banner when I select the channels, but I have a black screen with a No Satellite Signal message displayed at the top. Checking system details confirm that there is no signal on input one for these channels but every other channel works as normal with full signal showing. Any suggestions as to how to overcome this would be appreciated – I can’t find a re-scan option or anything else obvious. I don’t want to lose my current recordings with any drastic reset. Just checked on my HDR Foxsat, and all 3 new channels are present with normal sound & vision.
Not familiar with the HDR1000S, so sorry but cannot be of further help.
