I have replaced my old Humax for a HDR-1800T.
I have set it to record all episodes of Frazer on Channel 4.
Whilst obeying this order the machine will not allow me to watch BBB1 or 2 or many other channels.
Either I am not setting it up correctly or my new machine is faulty.
Can anyone tell me which it is please?

From what you have said so far the most likely amswer is neither of the above!
It sounds as though you were also recording a seond progarmme at the time. You have not mentioned where or not you checked for a second prgramme being recorded.
Next time this happens check if you have a second programme recording.
You can do this by pressing the stop button while watching a live channel, but be carefull to not then cancel the recordings in progress! Otr you could look through the Media list for two progarmmes being recorded, but that’s not so quick and easy.
I double checked that I have not done this and then saw that I have scheduled the same programme twice. I have deleted one and I hope tomorrow the same thing will not happen.
