I have just bought a Humax HDR1100S to replace Sky. Previously my Sky box was below the TV and behind a closed drop-down door. I operated the box by use of an SLX magic eye. This will not work with my Humax box as it was connected to the Sky box’s RF output which the Humax does not have. What can I use to operate my Humax box with the remote when the box is behind the door? I only want to control this box and the adjacent TV.

If your box is networked and you have a smart phone/tablet you can also use the Humax app. Note you do not have to pair the app to use it as a wireless remote control.
