InactiveHello
New here, and wondered if there were any 9500T owners still using their boxes? If so had they spotted this foible? From Nov 4th the 9500T stopped recording the event information with and programme. It appears when viewing from the guide but does not record it.
I doubt if Humax will be sending any OTA updates for these boxes any more their web site does not appear to know anything about them, so I assume they no longer support them.
Thanks

Do you really have a 9500T or is it a 9150T?

InactiveIf you mean the programme information that appears at the bottom of the screen when you press the ‘i’ button then on my 9200 the information is available for a recording made late on the 4th and another on the 5th November.

I have to confess I haven’t hear of the 9500T; the black cased 9200 models were 9200TB and 9200TBX. There was a 9300T with a 500NB disk that was a 9300T500. Anyway if what you have is related to the 9200 then the first thing to try would be a reset to default settings. If that doesn’t resolve the problem then the next thing to try would be to format the hard drive from the HDD Control menu item in the record menu; this will of course delete all your existing recordings.

InactiveOK. Thanks Biggles. I rescanned the box after on screen repeated requests to do so. Found a lot of channels that should not be noticed or linked to from an SD box (it noted as “D” or data services lots of channels that should be HD channels) I wonder if its getting confused?
Cheers
PS This is from Sutton Coldfield TX.

ParticipantI believe the 9500T was the Finnish version of the 9200T. Some of the early improvements were available on that version before the UK version and I remember running the firmware from that machine modified for the UK machine prior to the rollout of those features here.
It appears some “grade A” 9200Ts were sold in a 9500T shell from humax direct.

Thanks for the clarification. I am not going to beat myself up about a six year old thread on a forum I have never read.

I don’t use a 9200T any more but I have experienced that for all new recordings. A reset to defaults restored it for new recordings.
