    Hello, I can set a programme to record OK.

    The FVP 4000T starts up and records the programme, but when it finishes recording it does not return to stand by, it starts up and takes over the TV, so the programme I am watching on the Fox T2 disappears.

    I then have to turn off the FVP 4000T and reselect the other HDMI input to carry on watching the Fox T2

    Any one else find this or have any thoughts why this happens?

    If TV has CEC control turn it off. If not and FVP 4000T is connected to hdmi1 on a Panasonic (possibly others), try changing the hdmi port to another one.

    Many thanks Graham, the CEC seemed to be the problem.
