InactivePVR-9300T…. Recording shedule goes “missing” usually overnight.
Also seems to do a reset to factory settings at the same time.
Any one have any ideas how to stop this and bring a bit of sanity
to this household……PLEASE.

InactiveSee this thread. No resolution I’m afraid apart from leaving the machine ON.

InactiveThanks Biggles.
Have had the lid off but nothing seems out of place, burned, fat, or bulging. all connectors removed and replaced…. all to no avail.
At the moment experimenting with making a short (3 min) recording every 6 hours or so on a daily basis from BBC1 as it seemed the longer the interval between scheduled recordings the more likely it was to be wiped!.
Will keep everyone updated
regards to all

I have moved your post to thread already opened on issue.
Follow the link in #2 and you will note numerous owners have same issue.
There appears to be no resolution, believed to be a memory issue.
However I would recommend contacting Humax support, the more users that do, the more they might take some notice and try harder to resolve.

I’ve been a fan of Humax for a long time and posted in their defence but did you have your fingers crossed when you wrote that?

Very much so, but cannot offer any other advice except keep pestering them.

Neither of my two friend’s with 9300s are suffering from this problem fortunately.

InactiveHi everybody, have been reading your comments with interest….
I have, as suggested left the outfit switched on and fully programmed with numerous items to be recorded (including some that have “whole series” booked).
Sadly many of the bookings vanish overnight, and a re-booking made only to vanish again. It would seem that this happens only on channels 9 & 19.
When I bought this unit 4 years ago I was very impressed with its ease of usage, as a result a further one was bought for my wife a couple of months later. Guess what… the same has now happened to her machine with a couple of months gap from mine failing.
Coincidence??? I now strongly believe there is built in failure switch.
Any one know of a similar outfit (from another manufacturer) to take their places ?
Harold
