    Hi

    I have bought an additional genuine Humax RM F01 remote control for my FoxSat HDR. (The remote that came with the HDR is also an RM F01). It does not operate the HDR but will operate other devices such as my TV.

    The code on the white sticker in the battery compartment for the original is ADB 1.0, the code on the new machine is MDB 1.3. Does this make a difference?

    As a matter of interest, I tried two other manufacturer (cheaper) remotes before buying a genuine one. Neither of these worked either.

    The original remote works perfectly.

    I have new batteries in the new remote.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Did you by any chance change the remote channel used by your original remote. The new one will default to 1. You can reset the box to use 1 or reset the remote to use the same channel as the original.

    Thanks Graham. I didn’t realise you could change the channel. Your suggestion worked as my HDR was in Mode 2 for some reason. Thanks again.
