I’m running my 1010s through HDMi directly to my TV and audio and video are both fine – however if I try to run the HDMi through my Onkyo receiver (HDMI 1.3) I get nothing. If I try to run an optical cable through the onkyo I get no sound but picture. The strangest thing is, if I turn on the receiver (setting it to any channel) while watching using the humax I lose sound. any ideas/experiences ? its as if the humax wants to go through the receiver but there’s either no handshake or a setting is wrong on one or both boxes. the onkyo channels are set to auto so should pick up something right ?
