I’ve recently bought an HDR-2000T (in lounge downstairs) that works fine apart from when i try to access the TV Portal. It keeps telling me to check my internet settings as it cannot connect! It has an ethernet connection running through an AV500 Powerline Adapter to a Virgin Media Super Hub (upstairs). I’ve gone to the Configure Lan area and it’s telling me that the ‘Network is connected’. Hope someone can help me please, as i’m running out of ideas.

Is that IP address from the DHCP server in the router? It certainly looks plausible. The first thing to try would be to put the box into standby, wait until the hard drive stops spinning and then turn off the mains power for a minute. There is some quirk in the networking stack that sometimes needs a power cycle to fix.
