Yesterday my Humax box froze on the tv guide screen. All atempts to unfreeze has failed i.e unplugging from the mains edtc. Can anyone help please

Welcome to the forum.
Unplug and wait either 5 or 10 mins. Use 10 if unplugging the power supply from the socket, 5 if pulling the p.s. connection from the HDR-1000S.
