Hi! Noob here, joined up as I am going to be the help desk for my 88 yr old dad, who has just bought an HDR1000s!

I plugged it in today and all went as planned, until I selected BBC HD, at which point the image on screen zoomed in. I couldn’t find a way of re-setting it, so switched off and on again and all was fine. I just KNOW my Dad will have this happen to him(!) is there a way of avoiding it happening?
