Hi,
both during play back and viewing through Hummy the picture is much darker than that of the LED tv, even more noticable if there is a night time scene where the image is is almost black

If I remember correctly only the 9300 has a HDMI output (and it’s only 1280 x 720, so you may as well use RGB scart – .
Check to see if the TV has a scart socket (often AV1) that is RGB capable. If so use a fully wired scart cable and set the output to RGB.
