My Humax HDR 1000S is connected on-line and so I should be able to watch earlier TV programmes. However, when I attempt to do so all I get is a blank screen. The earlier TV programmes are listed and I am invited to “watch now”. When I do, a black rectangle moves down from the upper right corner and that is all I get.
Any advice please

I presume you are using automatic network settings on the Humax and router. Using another device (PC, Phone, etc) also using automatic settings can you play anything on the BBC IPlayer?
Does the problem exist both via the backwards EPG and via Home > On demand?
