    Does anyone know what the maximum size, USB hard drive can be accessed by the HDR-1800T. There appear to be some good deals on 4TB at the present tine, but I’m concerned there may be a 2TB limit.

    Also any thoughts about External USB Drive versus NAS with DLNA uPNP?

    Welcome to our Forum :-)

    Cannot state max usb HDD size, but can confirm a 3TB WD Elements powered HDD works, however archiving is painfully slow.

    As for NAS I occasionally connect to a Netgear ReadyNAS 104 without any issues – to date.
