Inactive2nd-hand box, just delivered. Unmarked, and seemed to be ok. Fired it up (started no problems) Few old programmes on the HDD, full EPG. set it to record a programme, left it in peace.
Came back an hour later and there was the recording. OK so far. Set a few timers in the EPG and encountered a recording clash. Odd? Upon inspection discover from the settings screen that only one tuner is seeing an lnb. Take out both feeds and swop over. Still the same tuner showing no signal. take both feeds out and put into older model and check signal strength on both feeds.- OK.Put feeds back into new box and scratch head. leave it playing in the background while I trawl internet to see if this is a common problem. All goes quiet in the background as box decides now it has NO feeds. Check cables (as before.. yes positively 2 good signals). Do factory reset and still no tuners. Disconnect and leave 24 hours and try again. no change.
So Question: can you re-flash the software/firmware via a USB stick or via the internet? if so where can I get it?

Hi firmwares are in the links to the left
Very old versions – not recommended.
What software version is on the unit? Some older software versions only showed signal on active tuners.
The factory reset – this would have displayed a message indicating how many feeds it detects – what did it report?
Did it fine any channels?

Maybe old, but as the OP asked can you re-flash the software then this is the only way as you overwrite with the old which will then be overwritten again by the latest.
May as well give it a go and see what happens.

InactiveRe-flasing is very unlikely to make any difference – except to confuse due to that release only reporting active tuners.

InactiveSorry they were the only versions I could find. Is there a newer way to achieve what he’s asking?
