    Hi folks,

    I have a problem with a new (4 months) HDR 1000S.

    The remote control has started malfunctioning. When I press a button it either doesn’t respond OR it repeatedly actions the button pressed (e.g. if I press “2” it will enter that repeatedly and keep trying to get to channel 222).

    I have replaced the batteries. I have used the Freesat app on my phone and my tablet to check whether the issue was the box or the remote. Both apps work fine. I have also used a “One-For-All” remote device and that has worked fine.

    Any ideas? Anyone seen this before?

    Duff remote – get it replaced under warranty. It’s basically contact bounce generating multiple commands. My original 2008 Foxsat-HDR remote has similar issues.
