I bought a Humax HDR 2000T in order to enjoy it, which I did for 3 days.
Then, unbidden and unwanted by me a software upgrade was attempted for some reason.
It did not work, my new machine was rendered useless AND furthermore I was instructed NOT TO TURN IT OFF
Now if I was an expert in such machines I would have known what to do but in common with most people who buy such products I am a layman.
So, I tried to contact HUMAX for advice. They have not answered my plea for help by email they were too busy to answer my phone call.
So despite claims that the problem was minor and easily remedied I say that to me the problem was MAJOR and HUMAX were unavailable to assist me.
I do not know how many people have been affected by this problem. I am tempted to write to WATCHDOG to see what they can find out.
I will never knowingly buy another HUMAX prouduct again because
in my opinion I have just experienced Customer service at its very worst, disgraceful
