    So the other night I recorded Gogglebox on Channel 4HD (don’t judge me) and today I noticed that I could view it over the network, via the smart share on my LG TV and I can SEE it through other uPnP devices. Other recordings don’t appear. Just that.

    What happened? I so wish I could view all my HD recordings over the network, it would be the best day ever!

    At a guess Channel 4 HD forgot to turn on the encryption flag. BBC1-HD wasn’t encrypted for a long time after launch on satellite.
