You can add the channel as a non-freesat channel. However to view it you have to switch to non-freesat mode.

This afaik means you can’t have freesat recordings during the period you are in non freesat mode.

Additionally you can’t record the content.

If the above doesn’t put you off, post back for instructions.

Yes. I’d still want to add the channel so that I can watch a programme even if I can’t record it (or any freesat channels simultaneously). Please post instructions. Will the process of adding the channel mean any existing recordings – or planned recordings will be deleted?)

It won’t affect your recordings or recording schedule

Settings – System Settings – STB Mode – OK – OK – OK

First time used press OK at message no channels are available

Press right on Channel Search to highlight transponder

Press OK and scroll to 10832,H,2200,A

Press OK and down to Next – OK

Change Scramble type to FTA, Change Channel Type to TV

Down to Start Channel Search – OK

OK on save channels. You are now in non – freesat mode (ITV1 Wales will most likely be on channel 5002. (You can delete the other channels if you wish)

To get back to Freesat Mode Home – Freesat Mode – OK

To enter Non-Freesat Setings – System Settings – STB Mode – Change to non-Freesat mode
