this can happen when the broadcaster doesn’t broadcast the correct EPG information and the box ends up recording multiples. Usually happens on the minor channels.

Better to have it twice than not at all though, dead easy to delete a duplicate, not so easy to magic it out of thin air.

In your other post, I’ve suggested a factory reset – this may help the series programming however; if the broadcaster is getting it wrong then only setting the recordings manually (not really advised) will fix it, the problem is you don’t know the broadcaster has it wrong until it’s too late.
